SERVICES WE OFFER
Tree Felling
If trees need to be removed completely, our team will assess the safest and most economical way to remove them. We can cut the trees for logs for your own use, or we can remove the wood depending on your needs. Larger trees we are able to offer a planking service where we bring in specialist machinery to saw the felled trees into planks ready for seasoning.
Crown Lifting
The removal of lower limbs can make the overall aspect of the tree look taller. Lower branches are removed which extends the height of the trunk. This can reduce weight from a tree, and is especially useful on driveways or access roads where vehicles may otherwise become entangled. Removal of low branches can also allow more sunlight to pass through the tree.
Removal of dangerous trees
Any dead tree can be a danger, we are able to assess the health of the tree advise on any tree deemed dangerous and look at ways of safely removing these for you. Staff are qualified in assessing the health of a tree and to look for signs that the tree may be sickening with disease and are available to advise on the best routes to take for such trees.
Tree Pruning & dead-wooding
Removing natural deadwood in trees is important for the health of the tree, we can also remove dangerous limbs that have crossed or those that have extended to areas that may have reached outside property boundaries.
Crown Reduction
This process reduces the overall growing area of the tree, taking branches off evenly around the tree to leave a natural shape to the tree. Deadwood and damaged limbs would also be removed during this process. Crown reduction can allow more light to filter through the tree improving the overall health of the tree.
Hedge Cutting
Routine hedge cutting to leave hedges neat and tidy. Annual visits can be put in our diary to ensure a regular service to leave your hedges looking their best. Hedges that are left to get out of control if cut back too hard can leave dead and browning patches, regular cutting/trimming ensures year round green healthy hedges.
Root & stump removal
Once trees are removed if root systems and stumps are a problem and need removing this can be done using a tree stump grinding device. If tree stumps are not needed to be removed we will treat them to ensure no further growth happens from the remaining root and stump.
Climbing and rope work
If trees are in a dangerous restricted area with limited space to fell them, our team may need to climb with the assistance of ropes and harnesses to safely remove the tree in sections. This would be assessed on a tree by tree basis to ensure the best use of time, resources, and safety.
Garden clearance and waste removal
If your garden needs a complete transformation and you are in need of a total garden clearance and waste removal, we are happy to quote you for this work.
Pollarding
This is the process of removing all limbs and branches leaving only the main trunk in tact allowing for new natural growth of the tree.
Firewood logs
Seasoned split logs can be provided for sale for open fires or log burners. Prices will include delivery.
